What do I do when I arrive? How do I check in?
Welcome! When you arrive on site, go all the way down the drive and park up in the right hand carpark, near the wash cabins. Next, head back out of the carpark and to the shop. Go inside and our friendly staff will get you settled in. 

If you're running late, give us a call on 01844 396 301.

Do the COVID-19 restrictions affect the camping site and the farm?

We request all persons entering the public areas of the farm and camping site continue to wear facial protection, this includes the shop, butchery, café and the amenities blocks. Hand sanitisers are available for your use.

What are the other camping sites near you in the Chiltern Hills?
We are a short drive from many areas of the beautiful Chilterns and our location and facilities are second to none. Other camping sites nearby to us are The Dairy Campsite near to Thame; Corner Farm at Great Missenden; Chadwell Hill Farm near to Princes Risborough; Hill Farm Camping near to Tring.

Is there someone on site 24/7?
Yes, the owner is resident on the site and can be contacted in an emergency through the site telephone number 01844 396 301.

Can I check in early/late or have a late check out?
Last arrivals are 20:00. Please email camping@orchardviewfarm.co.uk regarding late check outs or add when you book in the available text box. 

How do I check availability to stay with you?

Is your campsite truly dog friendly?
We love well behaved dogs (kept on a lead) on the campsite, our farm and in our café. Due to local government restrictions dogs are not allowed in our shop or butchery.

Do you offer 1 night stays at weekend ?

What facilities/activities are at OVF?
We have:

• Hay bale fort
• Wash facilities including showers, disabled was facilities
• Vintage Tractor
• Sandpit
• Animals (Sheep. Deer, Pigs, Chickens)
• Local walks 
• Farm Shop & Butchery
• The Outhouse Bar
• The Trough Cafe


Can I take my car onto the pitch to unload?
Cars are not allowed on the campsite for the safety of all campers. We provide wheel barrows and trollies to help you get your stuff from your car to your pitch.  

What do you charge for kids camping?
Additional young people (aged 2-18) - £7 High & Low per night
Infants up to 2 are free 

Is there a discount for groups?
We don’t offer group discounts at present. 

Do you have TV’s?
We don’t have TVs at present, we want OVF to be an authentic camping experience! 

Do we have heating in your glamping tents?
We don’t have heating in our glamping tents at present. We do provide lamps, beds, bedding, side tables, rugs. 

How can I pay my balance?
Login to your account using the details sent on your confirmation email. Otherwise please email our manager on camping@orchardviewfarm.co.uk - they will ring you back.

Can you take the booking for me over the phone?
We prefer that all bookings are done through our website but if you get stuck or encounter any issues, please give us a call. 

How do I check availability for a group booking?
Currently our system does not allow for group bookings to be checked in online. Please call or email us on this one.

Do you take single sex groups?
We do not accept large same sex groups, call to check if you are unsure.

How late can I arrive on a Friday?
We ask that campers arrive before 20:00

What should I bring with me for the stay? (Glamping)
You can choose to bring your own bedding, or we can supply it. Other than that just the usual things that you might need when you go on away. We have a farm shop, café and butchery on site so we should have you covered for most things. 

Can I charge my phone?
At present we do not have any phone charging facilities, we are working on it though!

Is there a safe dog walking area?
We allow dogs on the farm including the café. There are lots of dog walks off the farm 

Where are the nearest pubs?
There are some great pubs locally. We like: 

• The Dinton Hermit (Ford)
• Red Lion at Longwick
• The Swan (Great Kimble)
• Three crowns (Asket)

Where is the closest supermarket?
Our Farm Shop and Butchery can supply many items and is a few yards from the camping site. The nearest Tesco’s is in Princes Risborough and there is a Sainsbury’s and Waitrose in Thame. Both are about a 20-minute drive away.

Is there a Doctors Surgery and Pharmacy nearby?
A medical facility is located in the nearby village of Haddenham, a list of addresses and contact numbers is displayed on the notice board.

Are there public footpaths we can use?
There are a number of public footpaths close to the camping site that can be accessed.
